Another Special function that i never perform before, A "CAR LAUNCHING" . Well, I'm not really familiar with mercedes car models, but the car they are launching today is a model called "R280L", a 4 wheeler, Fancy and expensive car.
.
The performance tonight is just me(keyboard) and Reno (vocalist). All the invited guests arrived early for the buffet and cocktail session. The Car they are going to launch was covered with black cloth, nobody knows how it looks like. Until the Launching begins, then only they remove the cloth and let everyone have a close look inside and outside.

After the launching, we start our performance. Well, we dress up quite Oriental as the Theme of tonight we were told, was "Shanghai Night".

Wedding Exhibition at Midvalley, 30th Jan 2008

"The Wedding" magazine held a wedding exhibition in midvalley exhibition hall, and we are invited to perform during the 3-days exhibition. It was unfrogettable as the exhibition was huge, more than 100 booth from almost every Wedding companies were here. We knew a lot of ppl in the wedding business during the exhibition.

Wedding at Noble Banquet, 5th Jan 2008

The restaurant is located in Jalan Imbi, a big restaurant with a Huge door. The food is really nice. It's a chinese style restaurant. Today's setting is a 4 piece band, we played a lot of chinese songs tonight. The traffic is quite congested so the dinner started quite late.

Wedding at Centro Klang, 3rd Jan 2008

Centro Klang, the place we performed at least 20 times. The ballroom is big, the food is nice. but in a weird place: at the 1st floor of a shopping complex, but it's good for us, before rehearsal, we can hang around and have a coffee break at some of the cafes on ground floor.

This time the setting is huge, 5 piece. Still manage to fit in the big stage of Centro Ballroom.

Wedding at Sungai Petani Kedah Local Hotel Ball Room, 2nd January 2008

This time, 3 of us ( Kenny on Keyboard, Shawn on Saxaphone, Anco on Guitar) have a 6 hours Ride up to the North, Sungai Petani for a Wedding Performance.

The couple this time arrange their tables out-of-ordinary, not by the old-fashion round table way, but a row of tables facing the Guests. It was quite new for me.

After the show, we have Supper and a good night sleep at the hotel, and the next morning rushing back to KL for another show.

Probably one of the oldest hotel in KL, I am pretty impress of the interior of it's ball room. The only thing bad about it is everything is too small, including the stage, we have to share the small area with the champane glasses & cakes. So our setup is small too, only 2 piece, keyboard and a singer, me and Yan Ting.

Another memorable day for us, a wedding performance to be remembered, because we performed at the Beach~! (although it's not a real beach, coz the water is not salty).
.
The dinner was out-door, all the tables were placed on sandy beach, our stage was infront of the Beach Bar, facing the "SEA". Nice experience when we were performing with coconut trees beside us.

EasyPhamax Appreciation Dinner at Putrajaya Seafood Restaurant, 19th Nov 2007

It's kinda special Performing facing the crowd with a lake. nice view from where we were performing. It's a simple 2 piece band, William in guitar & me (sorry, didn't manage to take the photos of us).
